We are back for WILD NEIGHBOURS TAKEOVER #2 at Moda on Sunday 27th April and you are ALL invited to come along to our FREE sessions...
How do I get involved?
You need to be pre-book for each session by heading to the events section of your MyModa app today as spaces are limited.
How do I get MORE involved?
If you fancy becoming an ambassador for the Wild Neighbours project we’d love to have you. These are the VIP's of our project who gain access to additional nature based creative activities at the following sessions:
27th APR - Making focus - 5-7pm - Private Dining Room
20th JULY - Meditation focus - time TBC

12-2pm MULTIMEDIA COLLAGE with Caroline
MEET PRIVATE DINING (suitable for ALL ages)
A friendly, collaborative session where we'll draw, collage, stick and map out the lives of Moda’s animal inhabitants over 24 hours on a long, shared sheet of paper. Caroline will then transform it into an online scrolly-story legacy piece with sound effects!

CLAY DROP IN with Kayleigh
MEET YOGA STUDIO (suitable for ALL ages)
Drop in at any time for a fun creative session with Kayleigh working with clay and inspired by the plants and animals at Moda (Kayleigh will take your work home to fire in her home studio kiln and return it to Moda for you to collect)
(P.S Did you know that Kayleigh also runs a regular Clay Club at Moda?

2-4pm: CYANOTYPES with Tori, Harry, Jerrika and Michael
MEET PRIVATE DINING (suitable for ages 8-800)
Head outside with our ecologist Michael to identify and collect plants from across the site and then be guided by Tori and Harry to create framed cyanotype prints of these for your home. Our scrapbook whizz Jerrika will collect up the plants at the end of the session and press them for our GIANT project scrapbook.
(excuse me…. What are cyanotypes?... GOOD QUESTION cyanotypes are nature’s own photo-making process, we’ll arrange our plants on special paper, use the sun (or a UV lamp!) to expose them, rinse them off under the tap and TA-DA a beautiful blue image of a flower is your to keep)

MEET AT PRIVATE DINING
(suitable for ages 14-800)
Everyone is VERY welcome to join in this special ambassador (AKA fancy pants VIP) session working with Tori and Harry on a creative nature based arts activity to explore and deepen your connection to the natural world.

7-8.30pm: NIGHT SOUNDWALK with Simon and Michael (+ hot chocolate!)
MEET AT RECEPTION (suitable for ages 8-800)
Be guided through the sunset (8.16pm) to venture into the hidden corners of Moda with sound artist Simon and our ecologist Michael to explore the nighttime sounds of our home. Together, we’ll create a unique soundscape that reflects the rhythms of our shared environment.

REMEMBER...
- Spaces are limited, so make sure you pre-book your spot on the MyModa app.
- ALL events are free
- Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
WHAT TO BRING
- Yourself! (if you’re coming alone EVERYONE is really friendly and it’s a great chance to meet your neighbours)
- Your phone (for the citizen science bit)
- WARM/ wet weather clothes for the Cyanotype, Gardening and Nightwalk sessions
- Feel free to bring a friend (just make sure you book their place on the MyModa app)
