Artists are currently working in a climate emergency and Kerry is responding by collaborating with scientists at the Nature Connectedness Research Group (Derby University) to inform her activities. Human dislocation from the land and all of its diversity, has created a threefold crisis of mental ill-health, global warming and biodiversity loss. Kerry is reacting with artworks designed to explore and develop a stronger empathy between humans and our planet to protect the wellbeing of both.

VALUE EXCHANGE 24-25

Kerry is a successful recipient of the ‘One King’s Impact Fund’ at King’s College London, collaborating with Dr Amanda Lenhardt and supported by partners in The Policy Institute, African Leadership Centre and the Global Shea Alliance. The project Value Exchange seeks to motivate higher-income individuals to mitigate the climate crisis by directly investing in climate-smart agriculture. This twelve month sci-art collaboration of impact-driven work will develop an online platform where our investors’ emotional responses will be studied to understand how individuals can be motivated towards climate action.
