NOTAN - S E R I E S
Notan is an ongoing collection of sculptural paintings which explore Kerry's interest in the commonality of womxn & flora. "We have a shared experience of dominance and exploitation, our capabilities reduced to mere aesthetics, sexual organs, our ability to care, feed and reproduce. Notan documents my exertion of feminine creation, redesigning new species in my image."

Grounded - s e r i e s
Grounded is a response to Covid, a combination of found and created elements deeply rooted to place. This intimate sculptural series is created in collaboration with Kerry's local environment and explores her new understanding of plant life through lockdown - sessile, grounded, literally rooted to the spot.

FOR-HER - s e r i e s
A personal herbarium of every plant in the artist's garden. These were pressed and then developed into cyanotype prints on handpainted watercolour paper and cotton. She retained the distinctive blue colouring on some of the works and hand tinted the others using a wide range of tannin baths. The print of each plant was then collaged to create new fantastical botanical forms named after the important women in her life.
