Overview

A collaboration with local artist Jules Bishop and Graphic Designer Raluca Grosu to create a series of handmade inks from the Old Oak on site at the Wantage Kingsgrove development. Utilising the leaves, bark and galls to create 3x handmade inks. These were bottled and packaged with a recipe and idea booklet and distributed to creative organisations, colleges and schools across the area.

The English Oak (Quercus robur) supports an astonishing 2300 species, of which

326 depend on it for survival;

716 lichens, 108 fungi, 1178 invertebrates, Owls, Bats, wood warblers and butterflies
