FOR - HER - s e r i e s

During COVID I created a personal herbarium of every plant in my garden. These were pressed and then developed into cyanotype prints on handpainted watercolour paper and cotton. I retained the distinctive blue colouring on some of the works and hand tinted the others using a wide range of tannin baths.The print of each plant was then collaged to create new fantastical botanical forms named after the important women in my life.
