Bronze sculpture, furniture, wall bronze, railings and frottage pavers

South Gloucester (install 2026)

A series of artworks inspired by local wildflowers including; a 4M high bronze clover sculpture, vitreous enamel railing and furniture using cyanotype wildflower prints created with the local community and a range of bronze frottage pavers and embedded wall art.

As part of the R&D for this project the artist was awarded Innovate UK funding to undertake material research at the National Composite Centre, where she explored the capabilities of composites for public realm sculpture. The extensive community outreach 'PRESS + PRINT' was conducted during lockdown where residents learned to collect, identify, press and press local plants and flowers. They created botanial cyanotypes from their pressings, exhibited them in a community exhibition and sent their plants to Bristol Museum to be accessioned into their permanent collection as a Community Herbarium.

CLOVER is part of the BOW commission which links the communities of Emersons Green and Lyde Green by the exploration and celebration of local plant life including: bug homes, furniture, railings, plant supports and brass frottage panels.
